I read so much last month it actually surprised me a little – the books I had I thought would last me a lot longer than they did – so between finding a few new books in my mums house and going to the library for some new reads I’ve acquired a fair few new books that I thought might be nice to share with you. I’m going to try buy less books – better for the environment and my bank balance – so I’ll either shop pre used or get books from the library. I’m quite lucky that Glasgow has a great library system, it even allows you to reserve books online so you’ll always be able to get the book your after

I’ve not tried an awful lot from Anastasia Beverly Hills but when the Modern Renaissance palette first came out I fell for the hype. I fell hard. So many of my favourite bloggers had written posts on it (which only spurred me onto buying it more!) Angela from Beauty By The Bunny has a brilliant post on it and the amazing NikkiTutorials has amazing videos using the palette. The palette was quickly bought without a second thought, I’ve had it for sometime now but not had loads of opportunities to play around with it until recently. The packaging of the palette is a really soft purple velvet, I think the more I use it the more grubby it’ll look – it’s already got some markings on it from use. But overall the palette is really pretty inside and out.

Is Oliver Bonas possibly the best place in the world?!? It actually might be. I’ve never been into one before but always drool over their site – I only realised they actually have a store in Glasgow recently! One in Central and one in the West End. I decided after work to go into the Central store one day and had a wee look – and of course left with a few cute home wear bits. The Central store is only a small one – and their site is filled with hundreds of lovely home wear bits but even still I somehow found myself holding loads of items and having to debate with myself about which ones to buy and which to put back. So here we have it – the final three.

Too Faced is probably one of my favourite brands despite not having tried loads from them. Everything I have tried from them though I’ve loved and I’ve never had any issues with anything I’ve bought from them. David surprised me with this for my birthday, I was so happy to have got it as it is fairly expensive – £52 is pretty expensive for a palette but considering you get 30 shades that are of insane quality the value is actually really good. My friend adores all of the Too Faced palettes but the Natural Love palette is the first of theirs that I’ve tried and I have to say I’m so bloody impressed.
