So I bought these a couple months ago (before I made the decision to only buy cruelty free products) after finding out they had this little set in Boots, I’d wanted to try the masks for ages but didnt want to pay so much for them if they turned out to be rubbish. So the set comes with six different mini sized masks: Supermud; Youthmud; Thirstymud; Flashmud; and Powermud. I’ve yet to try Youthmud or Flashmud but after trying the other three I’m not sure I want to… My skin really isn’t sensitive, its very oily and dehydrated though, so when I first tried these masks the ones I used were Supermud on my Tzone, Powermud on my cheeks and after removing finished off with thirsty mud. Seems like a lot of masks, but they were all in different places, Glamglow actually…View Post
I’m a sucker for a eye shadow palette. New pretty palettes are my kryptonite. When Huda Beauty first released their Rose Gold palette I fell for it instantly and pretty much bought it as soon as it became available online – it took a hot minute though as it was sold out for the longest time!

So from a few Google searches, I’ve managed to find out – as far as I can see – that Primark do not test their cosmetics / buy from companies that do test on animals. I got this ageeees ago, I buy a lot of stuff and most of it just gets shoved in a drawer.View Post
I read so much last month it actually surprised me a little – the books I had I thought would last me a lot longer than they did – so between finding a few new books in my mums house and going to the library for some new reads I’ve acquired a fair few new books that I thought might be nice to share with you. I’m going to try buy less books – better for the environment and my bank balance – so I’ll either shop pre used or get books from the library. I’m quite lucky that Glasgow has a great library system, it even allows you to reserve books online so you’ll always be able to get the book your afterView Post
I’ve not tried an awful lot from Anastasia Beverly Hills but when the Modern Renaissance palette first came out I fell for the hype. I fell hard. So many of my favourite bloggers had written posts on it (which only spurred me onto buying it more!) Angela from Beauty By The Bunny has a brilliant post on it and the amazing NikkiTutorials has amazing videos using the palette. The palette was quickly bought without a second thought, I’ve had it for sometime now but not had loads of opportunities to play around with it until recently. The packaging of the palette is a really soft purple velvet, I think the more I use it the more grubby it’ll look – it’s already got some markings on it from use. But overall the palette is really pretty inside and out.View Post
