Arbonne Intelligence Genius Nightly Resurfacing Pads | Review

For awhile now I’ve been using the Nightly Resurfacing Pads – I actually stopped using them for a couple of weeks and my skin started to freak out again – so I’m thinking removing these was maybe a bad idea, good job I had a new pack waiting! So the Arbonne Intelligence Genius Nightly Resurfacing Pads (mouthful of a name innit?) come packaged as two different items, the glass bottle which houses the solution and the plastic tub where the pads sit. So when you first go to use the product you need to pour all the solution on the pads – the solution smells horrific though, very much a strong alcohol almost a bit like white spirit… The liquid also changes the pads from white to yellow. It’s a retinoid product which promises youthful, radiant, luminous skin. The first difference…

Cruelty Free Superdrug Haul

Superdrug are leading the way just now when it comes to cruelty free beauty products at the moment! All their own brand products are cruelty free, and great news too – its all super affordable! I’ve picked up a few different products from them recently – I’m aiming to make all my beauty regime cruelty free from shower products to skin care – I even want my toothpaste to be cruelty free. I’m even going to make my next toothbrush better for the planet by ditching the cheap plastic ones and going for a bamboo one I think!I picked up a few things from their Naturally Radiant range – this range is infused with plant extracts and features glycolic acid. I picked up their Glycolic Overnight Peel, Glycolic Acid Tonic and their Glycolic Acid Daily Cleansing Pads. So the Naturally…

Read in February

January was an amazing month full of reading for me, February not so much but I did still get in a few new reads.(and made it half way through another!) I don’t know why I didn’t manage to get a few more books read this months, but whenever I tried to read I just found that I was too exhausted to read or couldn’t focus on anything long enough to even try.  The first of the books I finished off in February was From Blood by Edward Wright. I loved this book. I thought I pretty much knew what was going on for the whole book then suddenly everything I thought I knew was wrong. The plot twisted and turned and had me flicking page after page – desperate to know how it ended. If you like crime books I’d…

Skin Care Routine

Over the past few weeks I’ve changed my skin care routine greatly – I was doing the bare minimum with my routine and my skin was showing that. My skin was in such horrific condition for the longest time and now its gotten back on track and I think its 100% down to my routine. My morning routine has pretty much stayed the same due to me having next to no time to spend much time on it before I’m rushing back off out to work. So morning is literally just cleanse and moisturise. I’ve been switching between the Arbonne Purifying Cleanser and Toner and the Nip n Fab Glycolic Fix cleanser. I originally started using the Nip n Fab cleanser again just so I could use it up but I’ve been so impressed with it recently that I’ll probably…

GlamGlow #Multimasking Set | Review

So I bought these a couple months ago (before I made the decision to only buy cruelty free products) after finding out they had this little set in Boots, I’d wanted to try the masks for ages but didnt want to pay so much for them if they turned out to be rubbish. So the set comes with six different mini sized masks: Supermud; Youthmud; Thirstymud; Flashmud; and Powermud. I’ve yet to try Youthmud or Flashmud but after trying the other three I’m not sure I want to… My skin really isn’t sensitive, its very oily and dehydrated though, so when I first tried these masks the ones I used were Supermud on my Tzone, Powermud on my cheeks and after removing finished off with thirsty mud. Seems like a lot of masks, but they were all in different places, Glamglow actually…
